Estimation of radiated emissions from a structure with a single modal reservation

The paper presents the electrodynamic simulation results for radiated emisions. The authors consider structures with and without a single modal reservation in the frequency range from 0.1 to 10 GHz. Frequency dependences of the electric field strength and radiated power were obtained. Radiation patterns at frequencies of 0.5, 5, and 10 GHz are presented. The authors showed that due to the strong electromagnetic coupling between the reserved and reserving circuits in inhomogeneous dielectric filling, the radiated interference is lower for the structure with a single modal reservation than without it in almost the entire frequency range under study.
