Computer-aided Design of Polymer-based Composites Using Multi-scale Models
Статья в журнале
The study is devoted to computer-aided design of particulate polytetrafluoroethylene-based composites for increasing their thermal conductivity values (as much as possible) with minimal deterioration of the mechanical properties. To solve the issue, an algorithm has been developed and applied using a multi-scale model. It has enabled to fabricate such composites, characterized by both high thermal conductivity and acceptable mechanical properties, via loading the polymer matrix with copper particles of two size ranges, differing by more than an order of magnitude.
