Sustainable development as a prerequisite of digital transformation of enterprises in rocket and space industry

the article considers key aspects of the digital transformation of the rocket and space industry of the Russian Federation and justifies the utility of the use of the principles on which the concept of a digital enterprise is based in order to maintain the leadership of the Russian space industry in terms increased competition. It is shown that the Russian space and rocket industry is losing positions in the world market, owing to the trend of stagnation of industrial enterprises, as well as existing obstacles to innovative development and technological re-equipment of enterprises. The article focuses on consideration of the prospects of using key innovations created at the intersection of digital and space technologies at the enterprises of the rocket and space industry, the introduction of modern automation equipment, which should result in the creation of a model of a digital enterprise and will make space business more effective. It is also justified that the sustainable development of the enterprises of the rocket and space industry is a necessary prerequisite for shifting towards digital transformation in order to boost competitiveness and maintain the leadership in the market of space-based technologies and services
