Microwave Carbon Elements

The study of microwave elements based on carbon fibers and coatings in the form of strip lines, quarter-wave pin antennas over the carbon and metal base, and horn antennas was carried out. Their characteristics at impulse action are investigated. Nonlinear effects in the carbon fiber-copper strip contacts are detected. Comparison of frequency quarter-wave pin antennas made of metal and carbon fiber is shown. The parameters of the 3D printed horn antenna are determined.
