Experimantal Stand to Determine the Scattering Matrix of the Studied Objects in the Impact of Radio Frequency Pulses
Статья в сборнике трудов конференции
A setup for determining the backscattering matrix of a research object in the impact of the radio frequency pulses with a duration of 1.75-3.1 ns with a variable center frequency from 5.3 GHz to 8.8 GHz is described. The pulses are generated by a single-board receiving and transmitting module (RTM) and are radiated by a transmitting broadband antenna with linear vertical or horizontal polarization. The backscattering signal is received by the receiving antenna system, which consists of the antenna itself and a polarizing signal separator, amplified, processed in the receiving channel of the RTM and recorded on the PC. The installation is designed for conducting studies of the properties of various small-sized objects: devices, metamaterials, protective coatings of antennas and structures, dielectric and other materials in the laboratory conditions and for setting up experimental works, the implementation of which requires the radiation and reception of electromagnetic waves excited by radio frequency pulses of nanosecond duration.
