Holographic formation of multilayer nonuniform PPM-LC diffraction structures under conditions of photoinduced optic absorption

The article presents a theoretical model of formation of multilayer nonuniform holographic diffraction structures (MNHDS) in photopolymer materials containing liquid crystals (PPM-LC) under conditions of photoinduced optic absorption (PIA). Numerical simulation of kinetics of formation of amplitude of the first harmonic of refractive index for each layer of structure was carried out. Using the optimal composition for each of the structures, it is possible to form uniform refractive index profiles, which can lead to improved diffraction characteristics.
