Experimental Study on after Failure Radiated Emissions of Triple Modal Reservation Circuits
Статья в сборнике трудов конференции
This research paper aimed to experimentally assess the interference emission and noise immunity of circuits utilizing triple modal reservation (MR). A specialized prototype and a conventional TEM-cell were employed in the study. By measuring the S-parameters up to 2 GHz, the magnitudes of field strength from the prototype were calculated under various boundary condition cases. The selection of these cases was motivated by the need to examine the performance of the PCB with MR not only under ideal operating conditions but also in scenarios involving failures at the ends of the transmission lines. This comprehensive investigation allowed for an evaluation of the effectiveness of triple MR, considering the levels of radiated emissions even after failures. The study revealed the optimal choice for the active conductor of PCBs with triple MR in terms of radiation levels.
